
Graduate School Scholarship Center's mission is to contribute towards poverty alleviation and food security in Africa, through research, development and partnership activities aimed at improving productivity and profitability of the rice sector in ways that ensure the environmental sustainability of agriculture. AfricaRice temporarily headquartered in Cotonou, Benin.
Requirements::
-A M.Sc., "DEA" degree or equivalent in agronomy, soil science or closely related field.
-At least 5 years experience in the establishment, monitoring on-farm and experiment-station research.http://www.callforpapersinfo.com

-Knowledge of statistical analysis of research data, using SAS and GenStat
-Be familiar with using software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
-Fluent in English or French with working knowledge in other languages highly desirable
-Applicants must be prepared to travel related to work in the area of mandate AfricaRice
-Be able to take initiative and work satisfactorily with minimal supervision in a multicultural environment
